Todos Santos

Todos Santos is a small beach town on the Pacific coast of Baja California Sur in Mexico, only has 5,000 inhabitants and is still one of the rather undiscovered gems of Mexico. Even though Todos Santos has become a more popular destination within the past years, it has managed to keep its peacefulness.

Todos Santos doesn’t have an airport so you have to fly into its bigger neighboring cities. The nearest airports are  La Paz (LAP) and  Los Cabos (SJD).

The main downtown attraction is still Hotel California, famed as the one from the Eagles’ song.

Things to do:

  • Walk the historical center
  • Check out the Hotel California
  • Discover Playa las Palmas
  • Punta Lobos beach
  • Surf at Playa Los Cerritos
  • Release baby sea Turtles
  • Dine at Tequila’s Sunrise

If you’re planning on coming here as part of a day trip from Cabo San Lucas, plan on about 2.5 hours each way.

For starters, Balandra Beach is not actually just one beach. It is technically a bay, that contains seven different beaches!
